Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Show 2013

I usually do not like it when people, especially adults who know better,
dress animals in human clothing.
This year, I found an exceptional exception among the leashed and uninhibited
in the Tompkins Square Park Dog Run.
(It was a riot.)

First Snowperson of the Year

Spotted on 12th Street between 5th Avenue and University Place,
in storm-ravaged Manhattan, en route to P.S. 19
to mentor the most incredible 10-year-old artists.

I hope her name was Sandy.

Wall Eye

Greenwich Avenue and West 10th Street;
iPhone photos (October 6, 2011)

One of a set of gigantic black & white eyes
spanning the brick wall along West 10th Street.
The building once housed the neighborhood
Paper & Party Store
, which caught fire last year.

Who knows what they're perpetrating inside?
Marc Jacob Cupcakes?
Mario Batali footwear?
The Sex & the City Store?
